Sylhet DC Office Job Circular Apply Conditions:

The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh by birth and a permanent resident of Sylhet district. Union Parishad (Conditions of Appointment and Service of Council Officers and Employees) Rules, 2011 will be followed to fill the posts mentioned in this recruitment notification.

Applicant age should be 18 to 30 years as on 27/07/2024. Age limit is relaxable up to 32 years in case of sons and daughters of brave freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters and disabled candidates. No affidavit is admissible for proof of age. An interested candidate can apply for both the posts subject to eligibility.

Candidates working in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations must apply subject to submission of No Objection from the appropriate authority. 06. The applicant should mention all his educational qualifications in the application.

Written and Oral Examination will be conducted for the posts in order No. 01. Written, practical and oral tests will be conducted for the posts mentioned in order no.02. Only candidates who qualify the written and practical tests will be considered eligible for the oral test.

Candidates who have cleared the written test must produce one set of attested copies of all certificates/no-objection certificates/documents in original at the time of oral examination. LIST OF DOCUMENTS (ORIGINAL COPY) TO BE SUBMITTED/PRODUCTABLE IN ORAL EXAMINATION:
a) All certificates/certificates/no objections.
b) Citizens given by the concerned Union Parishad Chairman/Municipal Mayor/City Corporation Councilor as Permanent Resident of Sylhet District certificate.

c) National Identity Card/Birth Registration Certificate.

d) Character certificate issued by first class gazetted officer. e) No objection letter issued by the appropriate authority in case of job candidates.

f) In case of son-daughter/son-daughter’s son-daughter of brave freedom fighter/martyr freedom fighter, photocopy of freedom fighter certificate (signed and countersigned by appropriate authority) of his/her father/mother/grandfather/grandmother as per the latest notification of Ministry of Liberation Affairs along with the application form which Attested by gazetted officer (with name designation seal, signature) to be attached. Besides, the certificate issued by the concerned Union Parishad Chairman/Municipal Mayor/City Corporation Councilor regarding the applicant’s relationship with the brave freedom fighter/martyr freedom fighter should be attached.

g) Attestation/certificate issued by appropriate authority in case of other quota candidates.

No allowance will be given for participation in written, oral and practical tests. In case of married women, husband’s permanent address should be mentioned. Any direct or indirect solicitation/recommendation regarding the job will be deemed as disqualification of the candidate. Satisfactory police verification report and medical certificate from civil surgeon is one of the main conditions of employment. The authority reserves the right to suspend, modify, add and cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason. Apart from this, other terms and conditions of employment shall remain intact.

Candidates who wish to participate in the examination can fill the application form on this website http://dcsylhet.teletalk.com.bd. The application deadline is as follows:

  • Starting date and time for online application form filling and application fee submission: 27/06/2024 AD at 10.00 AM.
  • Last date and time for submission of application form online: 27/07/2024 AD 5.00 PM. Candidates who have received USER ID within the said period can submit the examination fee through Teletalk pre-paid mobile SMS within the next 72 (seventy two) hours from the time of submission of application form online.
  • In the online application form, the candidate will scan his signature (length 300 × width 80 pixel) and color photograph (length 300 × width 300 pixel) and upload it at the designated place. Image size should be maximum 100 KB and signature size should be maximum 60 KB.
  • Since the information filled in the online application form will be used in all subsequent activities, the candidate himself will be hundred percent sure about the correctness of all the information filled before submitting the application form online.
  • The candidate shall keep a color print copy of the online filled application form as an aid for any examination related purposes and submit one copy at the time of oral examination.
  • Rules for sending SMS and payment of examination fee: After completing the application form by filling the application form online properly and uploading the photo and signature according to the instructions, the application preview with the photo can be seen on the computer. If any information is wrong in the Applicant’s copy or the image is blurred (completely black/completely white/blurry) or the photograph/signature is not correct then one can only re-apply (on the web) without depositing the application fee.

Note that no further changes/amendments/enhancements are acceptable after the submission of application fee, therefore, before submitting the application fee, the candidate must download and save his recent color photograph, accurate information and signed PDF copy in the Applicant’s copy.

Applicant’s copy will have a User ID and using the User ID the candidate can send 02 (two) SMS from any teletalk pre-paid mobile number for exam fee of Tk 200.00 (two hundred) and SMS service charges of Teletalk in the following manner. For 23.00 (twenty three) Taka (non-refundable) total 223.00 (two hundred and twenty three) Taka will be deposited within the next 72 hours. Note that even if all parts of the application form are submitted online, the online application form will not be accepted in any case until the examination fee is submitted.
