• Candidate Age Limit: Age Limit 18 to 30 Years for General Candidates as on 01-10-2024. However, the age limit of children of freedom fighters, martyred freedom fighters and Birangana is 18 to 32 years. Note that affidavits are not admissible for calculating age.
• Marital Status: Married/Single.
• Recruitment Test Center and Date: The applied candidate will be informed about the recruitment test center and date through BGB E-Recruitment website and mobile phone through SMS.

Border Guard Civilian Recruitment Exam Application Procedure:

Application Procedure: From the current recruitment circular on the BGB Civilian Job Circular 2024 e-recruitment website https://joinborderguard.bgb.gov.bd, the application should be completed in the following 06 steps:

■ Step-1: Aptitude Test

• Click on “Apply” button from the recruitment notification.
• Read the steps of the application process carefully before applying.
• Click on “Continue” button.
• Answer all the questions on the Aptitude Test correctly.

■ Step-2: Registration

• Enter personal mobile number if you are eligible and email address if available then click on “Proceed” button.
• Enter the four digit OTP code sent to your mobile and click on the “Verify” button.
• Once your mobile number is verified, the system generated user ID and password for registration will appear on your screen.
• User ID and password will also be sent through SMS to the mobile number used for your registration.

■ Step-3: Deposit of application fee

• Then click on “Go to Login Page” button below.
• Click on “Login” button with your User ID and Password.
• Click on “Pay Fee” button if willing to pay the admission process fee.
• Make payments digitally by providing correct details of your banking card or mobile banking.
• Minimum 100/- to maximum 200/- payment for application fee as per pay grade.

■ Step-4 : Verification of educational qualification

• Enter your educational qualification information and click on “Verify” button.
• If the information provided by you is not correct, recheck all educational qualification information and provide correct information.

■ Step-5 : Provide personal information and upload photos

If the education information is correct, your name and required information will be automatically filled.
Provide personal information in the input fields in the form.
Upload recent passport size photograph.

Border Guard Bangladesh BGB Civilian Recruitment Admit Card Download will be informed to the eligible candidates through SMS in due course. However, those candidates who are considered ineligible will not receive any SMS regarding admit card download.

Receipt of Border Guard Bangladesh Civilian Recruitment Test Admit Card will be intimated on www.bgb.gov.bd website and through SMS on candidate’s mobile phone (only to eligible candidates) in due course.

All communication related to the examination will be done on the mobile phone provided by the candidate in the online application form, so it is recommended to keep the number active at all times, read the SMS and follow the instructions received immediately.

Candidates who want to get admission in BGB should click on the information form using the User ID and Password sent in SMS and after downloading the form, fill the information mentioned in the form properly and then fill the information mentioned in the form, then the information such as rail number, post name, photo, exam date, time and place / center name etc. Candidates should download the admit card and print it in color. Conditions for participation in BGB Recruitment Exam:

According to the Border Guard Bangladesh BGB recruitment circular 2024, the recruitment test will be conducted in three stages:

1. Initial medical examination.
2. written test
3. and final medical examination.

Medical and Written Examination of Candidates: Candidates will undergo preliminary medical, written, practical, oral and final medical examination in phases. Then only the selected candidates will be given the HBs Ag according to the allotted quota according to the merit list from among the eligible candidates. Dope Test, Fasting Sugar, HbA1C Anti HCV and Serum Creatinine will be sent to Border Guard Hospital, Dhaka for blood test.

It should be noted that candidates with negative results in HBsAg and Anti HCV blood tests, Not Detected in Dope tests and normal results in Fasting Sugar, HbA1C and Serum Creatinine blood tests will be considered as final candidates.

Below is the list of documents to be taken during the initial medical examination

• Original certificate of pass in SSC and HSC examination.
• Attested photocopy of practical experience certificate in relevant post along with original copy.
• Certificate from school/college. The testimonial must mention the candidate’s address and date of birth.
• Parental permission letter. The letter should be attested by the Chairman.
• Citizenship certificate.
• 11 copies of passport size photograph. 01 photo copy to be attested by Chairman.
• Freedom fighter certificate of candidates applying for freedom fighter quota.
• Unmarried Certificate issued by Municipal Chairman.
• Character certificate.
• Attested photocopy of certificate issued by local chairman regarding married/unmarried.
• Father’s ID card or birth certificate.
• BGB Applicant’s Copy

[AllPhotocopies of certificates, photographs and other documents (if any) must be attested by a gazetted officer of first class. The attestation shall bear the name, designation, seal and signature of the attesting officer]
